This whimsical holiday scene features a vintage Christmas camper (not real of course, but looks so real) surrounded by snow-covered evergreens, glowing lights, and classic red and gold details. Warm light shining from the camper creates a cozy contrast against the snowy setting, bringing the charm of a nostalgic Christmas storybook to life.

Designed with children and families in mind, the set offers plenty of variety for both playful holiday moments and timeless Christmas portraits. Little ones can pull the classic red wagon, snuggle together under a cozy blanket, gather on the floor, or simply laugh and play with their siblings. These simple interactions allow us to capture genuine expressions and the sweet connections that make childhood Christmas memories so special.

The rich palette of evergreen, warm cream, Christmas red, and touches of gold pairs beautifully with velvet dresses, tartan plaids, cozy sweaters, classic holiday outfits, and neutral winter tones. The setting works equally well for coordinated sibling portraits and beautifully styled family Christmas photos.

Perfect for families who love Christmas nostalgia with a touch of childhood wonder, this setting feels warm, playful, and beautifully timeless β€” ideal for holiday cards, framed portraits, and memories to treasure long after the season has passed.

These shades echo the rich colors of the camper and surrounding evergreens while standing out beautifully against the snowy winter setting.

🌿 STYLING TIPS

  • Coordinate without matching exactly β€” mix reds, greens, creams, and warm neutrals throughout the family for a natural, layered look.

  • Classic Christmas patterns are welcome β€” tartan and subtle plaid photograph especially well in this storybook setting.

  • Add texture with velvet, chunky knits, cable-knit sweaters, corduroy, or soft wool for a cozy holiday feel.

  • Warm neutrals balance stronger Christmas colors β€” cream, ivory, camel, and brown work beautifully alongside red and evergreen.

  • Keep shoes classic and understated. Brown or tan boots, simple neutral shoes, and traditional dress shoes all complement the set beautifully.

THE LIFESTYLE CORNER – THE WINTER WONDERLAND CHRISTMAS SETTING

A snowy Christmas morning in DFW? We can dream - and we can create it. Since a true snow-covered Christmas landscape is something we rarely get to experience here in North Texas, this year we wanted to bring that little bit of winter magic into the studio.

By thoughtfully blending a real, dimensional studio setup with a beautifully designed winter backdrop, we create the illusion of looking through a grand arched window into a peaceful, snow-covered forest. The backdrop is carefully integrated with real Christmas trees, soft furnishings, layered textures, and natural lighting so that the snowy scenery feels surprisingly realistic and seamless in photographs - rather than simply looking like a printed background.

A soft ivory curved sofa anchors the scene, surrounded by softly glowing Christmas trees and elegant accents in cream, champagne gold, and muted greenery. The result is light, airy, and sophisticated, with just enough Christmas sparkle while allowing the beautiful winter landscape to remain the centerpiece.

Designed for both portraits and candid moments, this setting is perfect for children, siblings, and families. Snuggle together on the sofa, read a Christmas story, play on the soft rug, or simply enjoy one another while the snowy landscape creates the feeling of a Christmas morning somewhere far away from Texas.

For wardrobe, cream, ivory, beige, champagne, muted green, and classic Christmas red all photograph beautifully here. Neutral palettes create a soft and elegant look, while touches of red or green add a more traditional Christmas feel without overwhelming the delicate winter scenery.

It may not snow for Christmas in DFW, but for a few photographs, we can make it feel as though it did. The result is a bright, peaceful, and timeless Christmas gallery - filled with the warmth of home and just a little bit of winter magic.

frequently asked questions

Q: How many settings are available for the Christmas mini session?

A: Our Christmas mini session features two distinct settings:

the darker green background: for a classic portrait style, with more formal, look-at-the-camera images.

the piano room setting: for a lifestyle approach, where we'll capture more playful and candid moments.

You may choose to be photographed in one or both settings. If you select both, we will begin with the darker background before moving to the lively piano room.

Q: What is the turnaround time for receiving edited images?

A: The standard turnaround time for your beautifully edited gallery is approximately three weeks. This allows us the careful attention needed to cull and retouch your images to our high standard. Need your photos sooner? We offer an expedited editing service to deliver your gallery within one week for an additional fee of $50.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of people who can attend one mini session?

A; There is no limit to the number of attendees from the same immediate family. We understand that sometimes extended family members might want to join; in such cases, it's $50 for each additional person and up to two grandparents can join the session.

Q. Can infants participate in the Christmas mini session?

A: Our mini sessions are designed to be short and efficient, making them more suitable for children above 6 months old. If your infants have a strict schedule or are not accustomed to new environments, a mini session may not be the best choice for them. But if you are experienced parents and can get well-prepared, there should be no problem for babies and kids of any age to join.

Q: Will you provide raw images?

A: We do not provide raw images for mini sessions. Your final proof gallery will include all the images that have been carefully selected and edited by our photographer.

Q: Do you retouch faces during the editing process?

A: Yes, our standard editing includes subtle, tasteful retouching designed to enhance your natural beauty. This typically involves softening skin texture and making minor proportional adjustments that can be affected by camera angles. Our philosophy for retouching is to create a flattering, natural-looking result that still looks like you.

If you would like minimal retouching or have a specific concern, please let us know in advance. Any additional complex editing requests that fall outside our standard scope will be quoted as an additional service that will incur a fee.

Q: Can we take photos or videos with our phones during the session?

A: No, all forms of video and photo capturing with personal devices are prohibited during the session.

Q: Can a Christmas mini session be canceled after booking?

A: Thank you for your interest in our Christmas Mini Sessions! Please be aware that all bookings are final, and we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds. Preparing for these sessions involves significant non-refundable investments in the studio, props, and materials, and each reserved spot represents a commitment we make to you and our other clients.

We are happy, however, to transfer your session to a friend or family member! Simply notify us once you've made such arrangements.

We absolutely understand that life happens. In the case of a genuine emergency, such as a child's illness (with a doctor's note) or a family emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our very best to reschedule you for the nearest available date, subject to availability.
