Dusty Lavender and the Sweetest Smiles
We began with a dusty lavender dress, a delicate floral headband, and a softly textured backdrop. The muted purple tones created a gentle setting for portraits of her sitting independently, with her little bare feet in view.
A miniature wooden bed added a touch of vintage charm. She explored a small wooden toy, held it up, and rewarded us with the biggest smiles. The sequence moves from quiet curiosity to open-mouthed laughter—different expressions that each deserve a place in the gallery.
That variety is one of my favorite things about photographing babies at this stage. A thoughtful look can be just as memorable as a joyful grin.
Soft Sage Green and Room to Explore
For her second look, we paired a sage green knit outfit with matching booties and a delicate headband. Against the muted green backdrop, the textures of her outfit and the little cream crib created a soft, coordinated look.
Her smile lit up these portraits, but some of the sweetest moments happened on the floor. Sitting with her feet together, looking up toward the camera, and getting onto her hands and knees, she showed us just how much there is to discover at this age.

A Little Sunshine in Cream and Yellow
The final setup brought a warmer palette, with a pale yellow floral outfit and a small bow in her hair.
A miniature cream bathtub made a charming setting for playful portraits, while a little wooden bed and a simple seated pose gave us different ways to photograph the same outfit. Soft blush and cream tones tied the images together, keeping the focus on her face, tiny fingers, and wonderfully expressive eyes.
