For this special cake smash and splash session, the studio was transformed into a playful outer space scene filled with floating astronauts, glowing stars, rockets, and a giant ringed planet in the background. The deep blue galaxy tones created a magical atmosphere that made it feel like our little explorer was ready to launch into space.

Step One: Portraits Before the Mission Begins

We always start our cake smash sessions with clean portraits before the cake arrives. This allows us to capture baby’s expressions and personality while everything is still neat and tidy.

Our little astronaut began by exploring the set with curiosity. Sitting on the floor, he happily played with a wooden airplane toy as if he was preparing for takeoff. His big curious eyes and adorable expressions made these portraits extra special.

Soon he climbed onto the little airplane toy and gave us the biggest smile, looking like a tiny space explorer ready for adventure.

Then came the fun.

Tiny fingers began exploring the frosting, and soon he was happily digging into the cake. Frosting ended up on his hands and even a little on his face, which only made the photos even more adorable.
